Goodbye Gorgeous

20 Jul

So if this is true, I have five days left to enjoy the peak of my beauty.

Oh well. Good thing I’m not vain, remember?

Ladies, at what age did you feel most attractive?

I was born on a Friday, I think.

I never actually considered attractiveness a variable 😉

    There’s never a set time
    To look and feel sublime
    The mnd’s power
    Makes one flower
And sets one’s heart and body a-rhyme!

It is NOW i feel the most attractive….in my late thirties and after two kids. i have made peace with my body, i watch what i eat (read snacks) and i love how i look…have stopped giving a damn about what others think.

Anjali:…just in time for the weekend! 😉

    Kavana: Hello, you!

Aunty G: “Mnd” reminds me: there’s a nugget of news I have to share. 😆

    sukanya: You go, girl. 🙂

Thank you for that verry flattering comment on The Keybunch. Looks like its party time – have a lovely birthday!

Like fine wines, one can only improve with age!
    Avoirdupois and wrinkles be damned:)

    Aunty G:

    DewdropDream: Indeed!

sharon: Thanks, Sharon! Keep blogging. 🙂

dipali: A friend mentioned the other night that someone left a comment on Shobhaa De’s blog saying men are like wine, they get better with age and women are like milk, that curdles with age. Who thinks these up and where can I find a machete to hack them into itty bitty pieces?

  11. DewdropDream July 22, 2010 at 6:24 pm #

OJ, think of it this way. One can still make yummy paneer from curdled milk. But wine that’s gone bad? Down the drain straight … can’t even water plants with it 😛

I will join you with the machete!

  13. Nitya July 23, 2010 at 3:36 pm #

    Belated happy birthday, OJ!

    DewdropDream: 😀

dipali: Hop on and hold tight, this is going to be one wild ride!

Nitya: Thanks, N, but it isn’t here yet. 🙂 Math not your favorite subject? 😆

Umm, could I like not claim it was for last year’s?
And what is with all the weird Google searches you keep getting? Price of fame and all that? 🙂

  16. Orange Jammies July 26, 2010 at 1:13 pm #

Nitya: 😆 And those are tamer ones.

Here's a bar of chocolate. Now talk to me. :)
