A Portrait of Us

25 Apr

My wonderfully talented friend and fellow blogger Lavanya gave us (her version of) a portrait of the Boy and me as a wedding present.

I love her artistic ability. I love how painstakingly she has detailed the picture, adding the little silver evening bag she and I shopped for together. I love how the Boy looks like Rohinton Mistry in this version (he doesn’t really, but I thinkΒ  I prefer him on paper).Β  I love how pictures speak louder than words and this one screams ” OJ IS SKINNYYYYYYYY!” like nobody and nothing else will.

So here’s us, now hope over to her page and tell her I said hello. Ooooh, will ya look at that teeny-tiny waist?

If she has drawn it, then it must be true. Pictures do not lie and all that.

Since I actually know what the “boy” looks like, this is even more awesome! So how’s the North America move been for you so far? Looks like you having fun!

    Broomie: She is!

M….: I wish, hon. She couldn’t fill up all that paper with just my frame, hence the skinny me.

su: Yes, me too. πŸ™‚ And don’t miss the fish.

Kavana: Hey missy, how’s it going? All set to move?

Dev: She’s done it all with a gel ink pen.

sukanya: Only in the pictures. Some folks think he looks like a certain cricketer. I just think he looks like handsomeness.

Chips: Hey! I’ve been thinking of you. My brother-in-law was in your town recently, on a quick business trip.

Aunty G: I know, it’s just so special.

dipali: You manage to get your point across. πŸ˜‰

Vidooshak: Great. πŸ™‚ Come back and see us.
