A person of character is one whose convictions are stronger than her coffee.

Good One ! 🙂
Aye Aye … stronger than my coffee will also do 🙂 i.e. I am the “her” in your statement 😀
Oooooffff!!! (Bows down in obeisance to the Wordsmith Goddess) Waiting to shamelessly steal and use this on someone, anyone.
Lol.. How do you do it? Concocting such tongue-in-cheek lines, I mean. Even your tweets are funny 🙂
Neat!
But I wonder what that says about mine since I like my coffee milky 😛
I’m definitely the coffee kinds then.
Gauri: Thanks! First time here? 🙂
M…: I write for you, M, I write for you. 😉
Thinking Cramps: …and OJ says “Who, me?” 😕
Priyanka: What can I say, girl, I’m just a huge, honking clown.
Shivani: Or mine, given that my flatmate would call my morning cuppa “coffee-flavored milk”. 😉
Nino’s Mum: Hey you, good to see you back! 😀 *Hugs*
nice…
congrats to you and your friend.
Methinks the Wise One speaks with forked tongue ? 😛
Character, conviction and coffee
In common, all have a ‘c’
Being trite and inane
Just a vanilla — plain
My mind’s gone all empty!
So, congratulations, you share your roj birthday with a dear friend’s baby! Cheers to that! But i prefer thinking of your birthday, according to the Fasli calendar (i call it the asli calendar, because it is accurate to the seasons), which coincides with the English one. You were born on Amardad Roj, Amardad Mah, which is a Parab! The Deity of Immortality — now isn’t that a nice thought!
Love and hugs:-)
PS: Do pardon the long paragraph
But you deserved the Amardad cenotaph
Thats why i like to limerick
Five lines – all slick & quick
Reduces space by as much as a half!
Hey you, happy birthday!
Hi, been to your blog a couple of times now, figured delurking would be the right thing to do 🙂
Love what you write…will keep coming back.
Coffee gets me out of bed, my character, well it puts me to bed. Sometimes in someone else’s. 😉
sukanya: Thank you. 🙂
Mallika: Nought o’ the sort.
Aunty G: I love french vanilla lattes. Too bad we don’t get them in India. 😦
Thanks for the birthday gyaan!
gooddaysunshine: Thank you!
roxana: Hello and welcome! Do visit again.
June: And where do your convictions take you? 😉
Enjoy the rest, my dearest OJ
Take the time to lie and play
Games in your mind
Leave regrets behind
And plan grand for a future day!
Aunty G: Them birthday plans are all up in the air
Will only happen if the weather is fair
Likey or lumpy
‘Tis making me grumpy
And I’m growling like a sore-headed bear.
I see a birthday went by. Happy belated.
Also, may your convictions be as pure as coffee watered down with organic milk. Strong coffee if you so wish.
CrazyDiamond: Thank you. How was Paris?
